It's as easy as 1-2-3

1. Collect samples of blood
2. Place tube in the centrifuge
3. Select the presetting & spin

In order to obtain PRP, it is necessary to spin the tubes at up to 6 times g-force. This creates a higher concentrate of blood cells and ultimately results in faster, more advanced skin rejuvenation.

What is PRF?

Combining microneedling and PRF, or Platelet Rich Fibrin, is currently the highest standard in natural skin and hair rejuvenation. It is an FDA-cleared procedure that has been scientifically proven to stimulate cell renewal, which in turn triggers the production of collagen and elastin within your own skin. Prior to your microneedling treatment, a small blood sample is collected and spun in a centrifuge. This isolates the white blood cells and platelets in your lood to create a concentrate that is nutrient rich. During your microneedling procedure, the PRF nutrient-rich serum will be applied to the treatment area to allow the serum to penetrate your skin. Microneedling and PRF is a great solution for:

  • Improving skin tone and texture
  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Brown spots
  • Acne scars
  • Under eye bags
  • Dull, tired looking skin

PRF can also be used alone as facial fillers or they can be combined with hyaluronic acid fillers.

PRF vs. PRP

There are several distinct differences between PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) and PRF (Platelet-Rich Fiberin). First, Platelet-Rich Plasma samples collect plasma and platelets. Platelet-Rich Fiberin collects plasma, platelets, white blood cells, and stem cells. It was believed that platelet-rich plasma was a more effective way to fight aging but studies now show that a mix of platelet-rich plasma along with white blood cells and stem cells is far more effective in aging prevention.

In comparison to PRP, PRF

  • uses a smaller blood sample
  • PRF blood samples are spun slower in the centrifuge, which allows for more white blood cells, stem cells, and platelets to be collected
  • PRF allows for 10 times more platelet concentration than the natural platelet concentration found within the body
