How is the O-Shot® Procedure Performed?

The O-Shot® begins with a simple blood draw. Platelet-rich fibrin is extracted from the blood and used to be injected into a numbed area near the clitoris and upper vagina. The platelet-rich fibrin causes a rejuvenation of the blood supply and cells of the tissue it is injected into.

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is injected, then stem cells multiply and grow new younger tissue. In the same way that PRP regenerates the skin of the face, it appears PRP regenerates healthy vaginal tissue. So, using this same technology, the O-Shot ® procedure works by using PRP to stimulate stem cells to grow healthier vaginal tissue.

For the best results, a series of three injections will be done. The injections will be spaced 4-6 weeks apart.
